The Path of Wisdom:

Following the Path of the Wise One does not preclude the pursuit of other endeavors. It merely signifies a dedication to science and learning that takes precedence over all other concerns. In line with this philosophy, Captain Gray has always pushed the officers and crew of the Darius to intensify their personal studies and to share their specialized skills with others. So far, this has resulted in a balanced development of the crew rather than a lopsided concentration of skills in one area.

All Chosen are expected to provide aid against the Dybuk of Evil and to help nurture the development of young ships. The Chosen of the Wise One are expected to share their lore with others, and particularly with the young captains. Sword of Damocles, our illustrious Prophet has some very good advice to share in this regard. He has also established an advanced training and development program for young captains who have a desire to learn. The program confers all of the normal benefits of being Chosen, but the duties are not as rigorous, and the student is assigned a more experienced Chosen as a personal mentor. Captains interested in enrolling should petition the Prophet of the Wise One for admittance as a student.
